Transforming Towns

3. Eligibility

You can apply for this grant if you are rent or own a property within the following town centres: 

• Llanelli 
• Carmarthen 
• Ammanford 

You must either: 

• Own the freehold, or 
• Hold a lease registered in your name with the Land Registry with a minimum term of seven -years remaining after the final grant payment date. You will need to secure your landlord's written consent for the proposed works. 

You cannot apply for funding to support work that you have already started. We encourage you to contact us at an early stage to discuss any proposals, email TransformingTowns@carmarthenshire.gov.uk

You may need to apply for planning or building regulations and discuss key design considerations.
