Our vision is to develop and promote a network of electric charging points, that provides for and encourages future growth in EV use, and in doing so future proofs our transport network and contributes to local and global pollution reductions.
This Strategy sets out a vision, to encourage and promote the development of infrastructure. We also outline ways in which we will encourage and enable EV use across all sectors.
The strategy is structured into three sections:
- baseline,
- forecasting, and
- recommendations.
Carmarthenshire County Council secured funding for most of the chargers via successful bids to Welsh Government’s Local Transport Fund and OLEV’s residential charge point scheme.
