Apply for a house

We work with five housing associations to provide affordable houses to rent. By applying once, you will be considered by all partners and you don’t need to apply to each housing association separately.

How to apply for a house

We have an assessment process to sort applicants into priority for rehousing. This is based on the urgency of your circumstances and the type of house you need. Our Allocations Policy (.pdf) explains this fully.

  • You can call us between Monday to Friday 8.45 to 5pm (4.30pm on Friday) on 01554 899389.

Houses ready for immediate let

We have properties that we have been unable to allocate and let through the housing register. This is not a list of all available homes.

The map below indicates the number and type of houses we have available in different areas of the county. This may help you decide which area of the county is more suitable for you and where you are more like to be allocated a home.
