Hire a room

Are you looking for a space to hold a function? Look no further, we have a number of affordable and flexible venues for hire at Carmarthenshire Libraries. 

Whether you’re looking to hold interviews, art galleries, conferences, training courses or meetings we have a space to suite your needs. All library rooms have access to; Wi-Fi, toilet facilities, tables and chairs. 

Athenaeum hall:

This beautiful Grade 2 Listed Athenaeum is one of the oldest buildings in the town. The spacious, attractive hall caters for a wide range of functions including weddings, concerts, conferences and general meetings. It is also ideal for arts and craft exhibitions and music/theatre performances.

Our Athenaeum Hall is available for hire as a Wedding, Function or Exhibition venue.

Fred Roberts:

The Fred Roberts Room is the perfect venue for smaller meetings and functions and is also an excellent location to host a variety of exhibitions.

Small meeting room:

This meeting room is located on the first floor of Llanelli Library and is great for smaller meetings, holding interviews or as a side space alongside the Athenaeum Hall for catering.

Gallery:

Both groups and individuals can hire the Gallery for exhibitions, meetings, book launches , Yoga, school visits, film shows etc. The gallery is a large, light and airy space with white walls, situated on the first floor with access via lift or stairs. Seating capacity 60 people.

Conference Room:

  • Conference Room that can comfortably sit 8 people.
  • Situated on the first floor with access via lift or stairs.

Gallery:

A spacious, functional room is ideal for a wide range of functions – Arts and Craft exhibitions, small concerts, conferences, and various community events.

  • Large conferences, light and airy space that can seat up to 40 comfortably.

*Projector is available to hire for £10 per session.
