Following the announcement by the Welsh Government on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 outlining their plans for 20mph speed limits, we are accepting suggestions on which roads you believe should be exempted from the 20mph national speed limit in Wales.
Please complete this form with your suggestions (along with valid reasons) for why a road should be exempted from the 20mph national speed limit in Wales, we will log your feedback and review it once new exceptions guidance is available from the Welsh Government. We expect to receive this guidance by the summer.
We won’t be able to log any general comments about the 20mph National Policy, as that is a matter for the Welsh Government and Welsh Government Ministers.
If your feedback relates to a Trunk Road, these are not the responsibility of Local Authorities, so please email TrunkRoads20mph@gov.wales. More information on Trunk Roads is available on Datamap Wales.
