What we can offer
Page updated on: 01/10/2024
Boost your numeracy skills to aim for a better job, better pay or perhaps you want to approach your home finances with more confidence. Maybe you want to feel better equipped to help your child with their maths homework or to be one step ahead when they transfer to secondary school. Whatever the need, there will be a Multiply course nearby to support you.
We use community hubs and schools in your area so that attending these sessions is convenient and remains local in places familiar to you. We can work in collaboration with existing community groups such as Men’s Sheds, Military Veterans, ESOL and Adult Learning Wales.
We offer sessions that might run over a number of weeks and can lead to accreditation such as household budgeting as well as one-off sessions that are focussed on a more specific need such as understanding the information on your payslip.
We also run more practical sessions where the maths you use might lead to making a memory box, seasonal wreath, making and baking - cawl and bread or using Scalextric to model the speeds and sizes of actual racing cars. When the sun shines, outdoor sessions are planned such as using a raised bed to feed a family, identifying trees and estimating their height and weight.
