Report flooding
Page updated on: 12/11/2024
To report urgent flooding problems outside normal office hours please ensure you call us on 0300 333 2222, do not report online. During severe weather, you may have to hold the line for an operator. Incidents will be dealt with in priority order.
If you can establish the source of the flooding, then you can report it directly to the relevant organisation. If you’re unsure of where the water is coming from then report it to us.
Main rivers / sea
If the flood is being caused by a main river or the sea, call Natural Resources Wales on 03000 65 3000.
Water mains leak / sewer
If you have a water mains leak or flooding from a sewer call Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water on 0800 052 0130.
It can be hard to distinguish between ground water flooding and a water main leak but if there is a constant flow that does not fluctuate with the rain then this could be a leaking main.
Any other source of flooding
Flooding from any other water source should be reported to us, for example:
- Roads
- Surface / ground water
- Small stream / tributary
Don't forget, if you’re unsure of where the water is coming from then report it to us. When completing our online form provide as much information as possible including any photos or video footage you have. This will help us to prioritise and direct resources where they are most needed.
In an emergency, outside of office hours (Monday-Friday, 08:30 - 18:00) please call Delta Wellbeing on 0300 333 2222.
