Covid-19 - Advice for businesses

From Saturday the 7th of August, Wales will move into Alert Level 0. However, the Welsh Government has kept a small but significant number of legal requirements to help reduce the spread of the virus and help protect the most vulnerable.

Businesses, employers and other organisations have a duty to protect their employees and customers while on their premises. The Welsh Government website has information on how you can keep safe, and what you and your business can and cannot do during the outbreak, including advice on organising events.

By law, you will still need to conduct and document a specific COVID-19 risk assessment at Alert Level 0. If you choose to relax an existing measure, put other measures in place to mitigate any risk.

While there are some important steps we must all continue to take to help ourselves and others, three legal requirements remain at Alert Level Zero.
