The Cross Hands East Strategic Employment Site is forecast to be the next major Employment Zone within the County. Growing from the success of investment at both the Food and Business Zones, the site extends to 10 hectares over 2 phases. Phase 1 has been completed and Phase 2 will be available from Summer 2020. The site has the capacity to house high quality business and office uses with up to 19 plots available for development.
Targeted towards the key development sectors in Wales and beyond, Cross Hands East will undoubtedly provide a high quality commercial environment to deliver significant employment and development opportunities for many. Phase 2 will see approximately another 10 hectares developed for additional growth.
As part of the wider Growth Zone, once again the location at Cross Hands is first class for business use with immediate access to the A48/M4 road network – local, national and international markets are within quick reach. Superfast broadband is also in place with the main Cross Hands exchange having been upgraded in spring 2015 to accommodate essential modern fibre communications.
Cross Hands East will be a unique employment site and accelerate the economic outcomes as a result of the Growth Zone itself. Its location speaks for itself. However, the focus the development has placed upon its position in environmental terms is remarkable. The whole zone has been sympathetically shaped to allow commercial developments and ecology to live side by side. This feature of the site clearly presents a modern and responsible option for any business or developer. Advanced Manufacturers; Financial & Professional and Environmental sectors can happily cohabit at Cross Hands East.
