Business growth & recovery grant

1. Introduction

These business grants are currently frozen whilst we process current applications. The applications are being dealt with on a first-come first-served basis. If additional funding becomes available, these funds may re-open – please keep an eye on this page for updates or request a notification by emailing businessfund@carmarthenshire.gov.uk

If you operate an existing business with plans to grow and/or ensure sustainability in these challenging times, you could be eligible for the business growth & recovery grant. This grant can help with costs such as equipment, fixtures and fittings, IT hardware, specialist software, training and more.

Your business must have started trading to be eligible for this grant. Your business must also be based in Carmarthenshire or have secure plans to relocate into the county. You must also create and/or safeguard at least one job.

Whilst priority will be given to applications which create new jobs, we acknowledge that safeguarding jobs which are at risk is also extremely important under the current economic climate. We will consider these on a case by case basis. We will look favourably at application which include safeguarding jobs as a result of the current pandemic.

Before you make an application, please read through all the guidance in this section of our website which explains in detail the terms of the grant, eligibility criteria, what you can and cannot use the grant for and the application / claim process.

This is a discretionary grant and is awarded on a first come, first served basis. It will remain open until all funds have been fully allocated.

If you've not yet started trading and need financial help set up your new business, you could be eligible for support from the Business start up grant.
