Apply for LEADER funding

A new application window is currently open and will close on 17 December 2021. 

Two new funds are available to support the rural areas of Carmarthenshire. 

Community Digital Improvement Fund 

As a direct result of the pandemic as well as changes in our community services, applications are invited from community assets and/or third sector organisations who wish to improve their digital practices for increased participation.

Grant Criteria

  • 75% of total costs up to a maximum of £5,000
  • Project must be fully completed by 30 July 2022
  • Applications must be received by 17 December 2021


Call for LEADER project applications 

We advise that you discuss your project idea with an officer before submitting an application. Please e-mail for officer support.

Grant Criteria

  • Projects will need to be completed by October 2022 at the latest and applicants will be required to demonstrate how they propose to ensure that this deadline is met.
  • 75% of total eligible costs up to a maximum of £20,000
  • Successful applicants will be invited to submit a full application before the end of January 2022. Anticipated start date for approved project 1 March 2022.
  • All project must align to the LEADER programme priorities.

Please note that the remaining budget for this programme is limited and we anticipate that applications received will exceed the funding that is available.
