The drainage of the rugby pitch has been improved and it is anticipated that this will directly increase the player numbers among the mini and junior sections. The club is a central hub for the village and are the only organisation in Pontyates that provides outdoor physical activity opportunities for adults, children, and young people.
Due to the age and condition of the existing floodlights, new LED lights have been installed. These have enabled the club to become more energy efficient.
