The scheme's aim is to transform New Bethlehem Chapel into a centre for the Pwll-trap community and its needs; specifically a centre to promote activities through the medium of Welsh and the use of the language in the community as well as social, leisure and well-being activities.
Through this grant, the project has been able to employ a manager for a year to lay the foundations for promoting and organising the use of the building and the technical resources and also purchase necessary kitchen equipment and furniture to make the space fully functional.
