Why are we consulting

We are launching a six-week engagement exercise to gather views on proposals for the future of household recycling collections.

We are looking at introducing a number of changes in a phased approach over the next three years to increase recycling rates, as well as to cut our carbon footprint and provide a more cost-effective service. Also, to help ensure we achieve the Welsh Government 70% recycling target by 2025 and beyond.

The survey aims to gather residents’ opinion in order to help shape the way in which these changes are delivered over the next few years.

How to get involved

Consultees are invited to respond to the proposals by completing the online survey, alternatively paper copies are available from our customer service Hwbs. We have compiled a list of questions and answers on our website to provide further information on the proposed changes. We recommend you read this before filling in the survey.
