Why are we consulting

The Carmarthenshire Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) details how the County Council will plan strategically for the management, development and promotion of the rights of way network, and other land over which the public has access for the next 10 years.
We have drafted a revised Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) for the County to succeed the previous ROWIP, taking into account of the various changes which affect public access provision that have occurred over the last 10 years.
In order to give the public, businesses and organisations an opportunity to make representations on the revised ROWIP before it is finalised, we will be consulting on the draft document for 12 weeks.
