Proposal to Review Primary Education Provision in the Mynyddygarreg and Gwenllian Areas

- Audience: Consultation on this proposal will follow the guidelines established by the Welsh Government and will involve identified interested parties, including school governors, school staff, parents, pupils, local councillors, community councillors, Estyn, unions, Member of the Senedd / Regional Member of the Senedd, neighbouring authorities and other stakeholders as stated in the School Organisation Code (2018).

Why are we consulting
This proposal has been prepared in response to the need to review Primary Education Provision in the Mynyddygarreg and Gwenllian areas.

Next Steps
A Consultation Report will be produced and published on our Modernising Education Programme page at least 2 weeks before a decision is made on whether or not to proceed to publish a statutory notice. The Consultation Report will summarise the observations submitted by consultees and Carmarthenshire County Council’s response to these observations.
