Why are we consulting

We are undertaking a public consultation to gain the views of residents and to support a current WELTAG (Welsh Transport Appraisal Guidance) study that is being undertaken in relation to the Tywi Valley Path scheme.

The proposed Tywi Valley Path will provide a shared-use route for pedestrians and cyclists linking Abergwili in the west to Ffairfach in the east. The length of the route from Abergwili to Ffairfach would be approximately 21km. The route would provide a direct and primarily traffic-free west-east route linking communities and improving accessibility by walking and cycling to a range of services, facilities and visitor attractions.

We would like to hear your thoughts on the Tywi Valley path proposal, as well as any suggestions you may have on how it can be improved.
