By-election: Election of a Councillor for the Pemberton Ward of Llanelli Rural Council
- An Election is to be held of a Councillor for the said Council.
- Nomination Papers must be delivered to Block 4, Parc Myrddin, Richmond Terrace, Carmarthen during office hours, on any day after the date of this notice, but not later than 4pm on the 18th of June 2021.
- Forms of nomination paper may be obtained at the place and times aforesaid from the undersigned who will, at the request of any local government elector for the electoral area, prepare a nomination paper for signature.
- If the Election is contested, the Poll will take place on the 15th of July 2021.
- Electors and their proxies should take note that applications to vote by post must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Block 4, Parc Myrddin, Carmarthen by 5 p.m on the 30th of June 2021, if they are to be effective for this election. This includes alterations to existing arrangements for postal voting by electors or their proxies who already have an indefinite or fixed period postal vote. Applications to appoint a proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by no later than 5 p.m, 7th July 2021. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on the grounds of disability, for work/service reasons or the need to comply with an enactment or guidance from Welsh Ministers relating to coronavirus must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Block 4, Parc Myrddin, Richmond Terrace, Carmarthen, SA31 1HQ by 5pm on Thursday 15 July 2021. The disability must have occurred after 5pm on 7 July 2021. To apply on the grounds of work/service or coronavirus, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on 7 July 2021.
