The Carmarthenshire County Council (Land To The East Of Station Road, Nantgaredig) Compulsory Purchase Order 2024

Compulsory Purchase Of New Rights Over Land East Of Station Road Nantgaredig
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Carmarthenshire County Council has made The Carmarthenshire County Council (Land to The East of Station Road, Nantgaredig) Compulsory Purchase Order 2024 under section 13 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.
It is about to submit this Order to the Welsh Ministers for confirmation and, if confirmed, the Order will authorise Carmarthenshire County Council to compulsorily acquire new rights over land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of:
- Facilitating construction traffic undertaking all works whether on or beyond the Order Land associated with the construction of a shared use route, which land and rights associated therewith are the subject of the confirmed ‘The Carmarthenshire County Council (Ffairfach to Whitemill Shared Use Route) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023’ made by the acquiring authority, suitable to accommodate both pedestrians and cyclists which will extend in a westerly direction from Ffairfach, Llandeilo to Whitemill, a distance of approximately nineteen decimal point two two (19.22) kilometres. The route once constructed will contribute to the achievement of the promotion and improvement of the economic, social and environmental well-being of its area.
A copy of the Order and the accompanying Map may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours at Carmarthenshire County Council's Customer Service Hwb at Unit 22 St. Catherine’s Walk, Carmarthen SA31 1GA.
Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales, Crown Buildings, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ before the 30th day of August, 2024 and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
