The County Of Carmarthenshire (Church Lane, Carmarthen) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2024
Reference: NFD/HTTR-1822
NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Church Lane, Carmarthen, for its entire length.
This closure is a continuation of the Temporary Emergency Closure imposed on Church Lane, Carmarthen, under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the 2nd of July 2024.
Pedestrian and vehicular access to individual properties (where appropriate) will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.
There will be no alternative route for this closure.
The Order will continue in force until works to repair a roof, carried out on behalf of Spartan Scaffolding Solutions Ltd have been completed.
It is intended that the works will commence on Tuesday 23rd July 2024, for a period of 20 weeks.
Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
