The County Of Carmarthenshire (Public Bridleway 50/14 (In Part) Bwlchau, Carmel) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians Cyclists And Horse Riders) Order 2020

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council on the 6th day of November 2020 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any Pedestrians, Cyclists or Horse Riders from proceeding along that length of Public Bridleway 50/14 at Bwlchau, Carmel as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
The closure is required due to investigation works being undertaken in the vicinity of the Bridleway.
The Order came into force on the 9th November 2020 and was due to expire after a period of six months, The investigations affecting the bridleway above described have not yet been completed and the Minister for Economy and Transport and North Wales has pursuant to section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991) consented to extend the closure by a further period of 6 months.
The continuation of the Order, by the above said direction, will mean that the Temporary Closure Order will continue in force until and including the 8th November, 2021 or until the investigations are completed whichever is the sooner. Any further extension will require the consent of the Welsh Ministers.

- From the C2144 at the entrance to Bwlchau (Point A on the map), north-eastwards along the track to the junction with Footpath 50/14A (Point B).
