Notice is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council on the 30th of December, 2018 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian traffic from proceeding along that length of footpath 30/75 at Glynhir whilst bridge investigation works take place on the bridge spanning the Aber Lledle.
The Order came into force on the 19th December 2018 and was due to expire after a period of six months but was extended with the consent of the Welsh Ministers and is now due to expire on the 18th December, 2020. The investigation works affecting the bridge above described have not yet been completed and the Minister for Economy and Transport and North Wales has pursuant to section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 consented to extend the closure by a further period of 6 months.
The continuation of the Order, by the above said direction, will mean that the Temporary Closure Order will continue in force until and including the 18th June, 2021 or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner. Any further extension will require the consent of the Welsh Ministers.
