The County Of Carmarthenshire (Public Footpath 3/62, Cwmamman) Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrian Traffic Order 2022
Reference: RWJ/HTRW-796
NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council made an Order on the 7th March, 2022 the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along that length of Footpath 3/62 between Grenig Road and Public Footpath 3/60 in the community of Cwmamman from approximately grid reference SN670129 to SN674129 as specified in Column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice in a direction other than that specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule.
The closure has been undertaken because of the likelihood of danger to the public caused by an unstable structure. The Order will continue in force for 6 months or until the retaining wall is made safe.
This closure is a continuation of the Temporary Emergency Closure imposed on Public Footpath 3/62 under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 25 February 2022.
Where appropriate, temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months unless the Welsh Government give a direction under Section 15(5) of the 1984 Act to extend the duration of the closure.
