The County Of Carmarthenshire (Riverside Cycle Path At St Clears, Carmarthen) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians And Cyclists) Order 2021

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporary prohibit any Pedestrians and Cyclists from proceeding along the Riverside Path at St Clears from a point 250 metres North East of its junction with the A4066 for a distance of 80 metres in a general Northerly direction.
The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst works are carried out to restore the cycle path following high levels of erosion and flooding from the 30th July, 2021 for a period of six months.
The alternative route for cyclists and pedestrians will be to follow the newly constructed path known as Riverside Path.
The alternative route for Southbound cyclists and pedestrians will be to proceed along the Cycle path known as Riverside Path in a Southerly direction using the newly constructed path. Vice versa for Northbound cyclists and pedestrians.
Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
