The County Of Carmarthenshire (Trawsmawr, Carmarthen) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2021

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporary prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the U2088 at Trawsmawr, Carmarthen from a point 404 metres North East of its junction with the C2043 for a distance of 85 metres in an Easterly direction.
The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst Carmarthenshire County Council to carry out emergency highway support works from Monday the 5th July, 2021.
The alternative route for west bound traffic will be to proceed in an easterly direction along the U2088, passing Gorwel to its junction with the U2082. At the junction, turn right and continue in a south to south-westerly direction along the U2082, passing Esgairfechan to its junction with the C2043. At the junction, turn right and continue in a north-westerly direction along the C2043, passing The Croft and Arwynfa to its junction with the U2088. At the junction, turn right and continue in a north-easterly direction along the U2088 to return to a point west of the closure. Vice Versa for east bound traffic.
Pedestrian and vehicular access to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.
Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
