Llyn Llech Owain Country Park

Volunteers can help with a range of activities - practical conservation work mostly:

  • Heathland restoration,
  • Rhos pasture and marsh fritillary restoration projects (seed collection, plant growing, ragwort removal etc.),
  • Conservation grazing project (including wild pony handling),
  • Red kite feeding,
  • Dormouse box project,
  • BTO nest box scheme,
  • Butterfly Conservation transects monitoring,
  • Bat box making,
  • Help with admin etc.

We try and accommodate most types of requests and are happy to work with volunteers and utilise their knowledge and skills on a range of projects suitable for the site.
