Business Waste
Commercial Recycling Centre
This new recycling facility located at Nantycaws Carmarthen, enables businesses to recycle more of their waste and reduce disposal costs. The site is run by Cwm Environmental in partnership with Carmarthenshire Council and is funded by the Welsh Government’s Circular Economy Fund. Waste taken to the site will be recycled or used to create new sustainable products.
You must have a waste carriers licence to use the site and produce a waste transfer note for the waste you take there. Applying for a licence is easy, just use the links on this page.
The following items are accepted at this site:
- Mixed General waste
- Hardcore
- Soil & Green Waste
- Wood
- Cardboard
- Plastic
- Metal
- Plasterboard
- Paint hazardous* and non-hazardous
- Glass
- Asbestos* – Double wrapped
- Furniture
- Electrical appliances including fridges
- Textiles
*Any hazardous waste will require a consignment note.

New rules for commercial recycling
From 6 April 2024, new Welsh Government rules will come into force. All non-domestic premises will need to separate recyclable materials from other waste.
