The private sector has a fundamental role in delivering key elements of the visitor experience. The Carmarthenshire Destination Plan (DMP) is a key document for bringing people, businesses and organisations together, to encourage and assist tourism related businesses to improve their quality, performance and their product offering.
Tourism priorities have been identified through the DMP, enabling key stakeholders to focus resources and responsibilities to achieve growth in tourism.
The destination management is a process that seeks to coordinate all aspects of a destination that contribute to a visitor’s experience, taking account the needs of visitors, local businesses, residents and the environment.
