  • Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEETS)

A dedicated Pentre Awel Employment Hub has been established by Bouygues to help match candidates to construction-related employment and training opportunities at Zone 1 of Pentre Awel.

Employment Hubs are held onsite every month, providing pre-employment training and careers advice with industry specialists. The Hub works closely with local employability initiatives – including Communities for Work, Workways, Careers Wales and Jobcentre Plus – to identify suitable candidates and promote opportunities.

The Hub accepts referrals from employability programmes/organisations, with the aim of maximising recruitment and training and improving outcomes for local people.

The Pentre Awel Employment Hub is already making a difference within Carmarthenshire – several individuals within key target groups have, following attendance at the Hub, been subsequently employed by Bouygues to work on the project.
