The County Of Carmarthenshire (Public Footpath 51/O/52 Cwmfferws Road To Rhos Terrace, Tycroes) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrian Traffic) Order 2024
Reference: NFD/HTRW-843
NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council on the 23rd day of October Two Thousand and Twenty Three made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian traffic from proceeding along that length of Footpath specified in column 1 in a direction other than that specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this Notice.
The closure is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public caused by a dangerous bridge structure.
The Order came into force on the Twenty-fifth day of October Two Thousand and Twenty Three and was due to expire after a period of six months, but the likelihood of danger to the public remains on the length of Footpath 51/O/52 therefore the Cabinet Secretary for North Wales and Transport, one of the Welsh Ministers, has pursuant under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991) consented to extend the closure by a further period of 6 months. The continuation of the Order, by the said direction, will mean that the Temporary Closure Order will continue in force until, and including the 24th October 2024 or until there is no longer a likelihood of danger to the public.
