Project Overview
The establishment of Ysgol Bro Dinefwr bilingual category 2B 11-19 school was part of the wider education reform in the Cwm Gwendraeth and Dinefwr area. Ysgol Bro Dinefwr replaced both Pantycelyn and Tre-Gib secondary schools.
The new school located in Ffairfach caters for 1,200 pupils in the area, including a 200 pupil sixth form and 30 place specialist provision for children with additional learning needs.
The school provides a range of curriculum provision through the medium of both Welsh and English on a modern campus with state of the art facilities.
Additionally, it provides first class accommodation and facilities, plus high quality vocational courses with other Dinefwr schools and Coleg Sir Gar.
