Ten Towns
The Ten Towns initiative was created to support the recovery and growth of rural communities across Carmarthenshire. It responded directly to the Moving Rural Carmarthenshire Forward plan, which set out practical steps to help regenerate our towns and surrounding areas.
The initiative was part-funded by the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014–2020, with support from both the Welsh Government and the European Union.
Together, these projects aimed to create vibrant, resilient towns that offer more opportunities for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
The funding map of the Ten Towns programme provides a comprehensive overview of projects and their funding sources.
This interactive map shows where investment has been made and what it’s helping to achieve. It’s designed to be clear and easy to explore, so you can see how your town is benefiting and what’s happening nearby.
