1 to 1 Specialist Support
After successfully supporting many Carmarthenshire businesses to identify and access dedicated 1 to 1 support in 2024 & 2025, the team are pleased to continue this offer in 2026, funded by the UK Government’s Local Growth Fund.
Businesses in need of 1 to 1 guidance can access funded sessions in a variety of specialties, including business growth planning, financial management, market strategy, website development and many more.
Due to the extremely high demand for this support, businesses are required to submit a brief application form, providing details of:
- Support requested
- Name of preferred specialists(s) (if known)
- Details of how the support will help the business develop
If no preferred specialists are known, the Business Support Team can offer a list of providers in a particular speciality. Please note that Carmarthenshire County Council does not endorse any 1 support provider and the final decision of specialist(s) to engage with will ultimately be made by the applicant.
If successful, Carmarthenshire County Council will make payment directly to the chosen support provider(s). Applications will be capped at £1,500 worth of total support.
Applicants agree to work with the support provider and CCC to record a log of sessions provided and subsequent outcomes achieved for the business.
All reasonable requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and decided on at the discretion of the Economic Development Team.
To submit a request for 1 to 1 specialist support, please download the form below, and return it to: businesssupport@carmarthenshire.gov.uk. An Economic Officer will review your request and make contact shortly.
