Emlyn Castle Approach & Riverside

Community Group Cadernid, based in Newcastle Emlyn, have worked together using the funding awarded to develop a feasibility study which has assessed three main areas within the town for development;

• Riverside area for leisure activities;
• Emlyn Hall as a community space;
• Old Powerhouse as a possible visitor attraction.

During the course of the feasibility study being undertaken, three events have supported with over 50 people engaging with the project, and over 2,000 people reached.

The study will be utilised by the community to take forward suitable projects identified within it and take advantage of any further funding opportunities.
