Shades of Green

This project from the National Botanic Garden of Wales, has worked alongside the Hywel Dda University Health Board estates department, to develop underused spaces as focal points for community co-developed green infrastructure projects.  

Community partners and volunteers have develop their horticultural skills on a portfolio of sites, to create an integrated mosaic of green space, that reflects the health and wellbeing needs of patient cohorts, staff groups and community partners.

In total, 2,150m² of green spaces were created improving the physical and mental well-being of the community.
