New outdoor education facilities

Funding has been used to install an exciting new addition to Pembrey Country Park. New high and low ropes courses have been installed which challenge individuals to conquer fears and build self-confidence, with a focus on teamwork, trust and support. The courses are available to schools and organisations in the county with the aim of benefiting pupils through high-quality outdoor education.

The refurbishment of the riding stables and offices into a storage facility has created a safe storage space for the new equipment and improvements have been made to enhance the biodiversity of a dedicated nature area 23,000 m² in size.

Over the course of the development five new volunteers have been recruited and trained.
