The project aimed to increase social entrepreneurship and social value in Commissioning practice in Carmarthenshire through a detailed report.

This report consulted with over 100 relevant people in the county. The report has been compiled to enable commissioners to be armed with the knowledge and resources necessary to undertake values-based commissioning practice. This is ensuring that there are suitable spaces for social enterprise organisations within future contracts.

This project has provided the opportunity to take the practical steps to prepare a commissioning environment that supports the social fabric of communities and will bring local economic benefits to local services.
