Location: Kidwelly and the Gwendraeth Valley

The overarching aim of Gwendraeth Railway Society is to improve the 9-mile Network Rail Gwendraeth valley branchline linking the communities of kidwelly, Trimsaran, Pontnewydd, Pontiets, Ponthenri, Pontyberem and Cwmmawr.

Improvements include a feasibility study, new fencing and vegetation clearance along the 550m mainline. The vegetation clearance will allow for a Topographical survey to be undertaken.
