Penygroes park was lacking any facility for children and young people to engage in ball games.

The new Multi Use Games Area provides the community with a much needed all weather surface encouraging physical activity in both adults and children. The shock pad has been overlaid with Sundeck Sport Comfort Grass.

The new facilities have been very well received and are in regular use by a local school.
