The food processing and drying centre will be accessible to Welsh food businesses, local businesses, individuals, and community groups. The food drying/processing centre will allow for fresh goods such as fruit, vegetables, herbs, flowers, microgreens, mushrooms etc to be preserved. This project will also bring the building of Trimsaran Miners’ Welfare Hall back to life improving the surrounding area.

More than 224m² of space containing low or zero carbon energy infrastructures has been created during this project, with sustainability being the focus at the food drying processing centre.
