Why are we consulting
The authority is required to review Cumulative Impact Assessments, which form part of its Licensing Policy at least every 3 years and as part of the review the authority must undertake a consultation exercise. The last full review of the Licensing Policy took place in 2023.
The consultation provides an opportunity for you to contribute to the review of Carmarthenshire’s licensing policy. We look forward to receiving your comments and ideas to ensure that we are able to maintain an effective licensing system for Carmarthenshire.

How to get involved
Questionnaire can be completed via the online survey.
The survey will be circulated to licence holders, representatives of local residents and businesses, hosted on the iLocal consultation portal, and promoted at various forums.
Next Steps
Consultation feedback will be used to review the existing licensing policy which is expected to be presented to Council in January 2027 for approval.
