Why we consulted

Having followed a streamlined process in line with the School Organisation Code 2018, Carmarthenshire County Council published a statutory notice on 25th November 2025 – 23rd December 2025, noting its proposal to discontinue to discontinue Ysgol Llansteffan. The Objection Report was presented to the County Council for a decision on whether or not to implement the proposal. The Objection Report summarises the observations submitted by consultees and Carmarthenshire County Council’s response to these observations.
