This placement gives you the chance to gain hands-on experience in the vital administrative work that supports schools, staff, and students.

Throughout August, Waste Officers will be available at locations throughout Carmarthenshire to answer your questions about the new Separated Recycling service, which will be introduced to around one third of homes from mid-late autumn 2026.
They can also provide information for residents who will be staying on the current Mixed Recycling (blue bags) service for now.
Carmarthen Hwb - Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am-4pm
Llanelli Hwb - Every Thursday, 9am-4pm
Princess Gwenllian Centre, Kidwelly - Monday 10 August, 10am-2pm
Laugharne Memorial Hall - Wednesday 12 August, 10am-2pm
Y Gât, St Clears - Thursday 12 August, 10am-2pm
Llanybydder Rugby Club - Wednesday 19 August, 10am-2pm
Whitland Town Hall - Monday 24 August, 10am-2pm
