The existing play area in the village of Pontyates will be improved as part of this project.

To support the physical, mental and emotional well-being of the community this project will create a community gym at the centre.

Development of new Community Facility

Tumble RFC with the Merched Mynydd Mawr girls’ rugby hub, Ysgol Y Tymbl, Ysgol Llechyfedach and Llannon Community Council intend to construct a new community facility.

‘Driving Forward’ - A volunteer lead transport solution

The project aims to address the lack of transport for residents that cannot access services in the Gwendraeth Valley and beyond.

‘Early in the Morning’: Digital Sporting Heritage and School

This project will create a state-of-the-art virtual museum that highlights Carmarthen Athletic RFC’s sporting achievements.

Electricity Installation and Café

This project will connect the Mynydd Mawr Railway site to the National Grid electricity supply, which will then allow a Café to open on site.

Felinfoel RFC Floodlights

Introduction of energy efficient measures within King George V playing fields.

Find Our Voice

Find Our Voice will offer young people two evenings a week after school - and during the holidays - an arts, health and wellbeing hub.

Gate & District Hall Multi Use Games Area Construction

The final stage of the project will see the completion of the Multi Use Games Area with the supply of an all-use shock pad.
