There were many public rights of way footpaths within the community of Cilymaenllwyd that had become obstructed and unwalkable.

The community already has a strong volunteer base that have started to clear many of the footpaths, however, some of these footpaths are so obstructed that they were impassable and required appropriate equipment and a contractor to clear. Once cleared, these footpaths have reconnected the communities and restored walking infrastructure between many villages.
