Why we consulted
This is the second stage of consultation on a new approach to Active Travel scheme development in Carmarthen. An initial consultation was undertaken in 2023 which provided some first principles information on existing travel habits and perceptions of walking and cycling in Carmarthen. Since then, a network has been developed and prioritised, and we are now seeking initial input on that network and the list of routes proposed for development and delivery in the short term.
