Why we consulted
We are consulting residents, landlords, tenants and those with other interests in the Tyisha and Glanymor Wards of Llanelli, regarding the introduction of a new licensing scheme. The scheme will be an Additional Licensing Scheme under the Housing Act 2004, and will affect HMO properties in those two wards. We are consulting on:
- The need for a scheme
- Licence conditions
- Associated costs
- Potential impacts
- Potential benefits
The outcomes of the consultation will shape the Additional Licensing Policy for the area, with opinions taken into account on all key matters. Following this, the scheme will be developed and presented prior to its implementation.
