Most Popular Fast Chargers 2023

Across our fast-charging network during 2023 there were 4913 sessions, and 68,723 kWh were delivered. The 5 most used sites were: Mart Car Park, Newcastle Emlyn: 523 sessions, Crescent Road, Llandeilo: 516 sessions, St Peters, Carmarthen: 485 sessions, Eastgate, Llanelli: 482 sessions and Llansteffan Beach: 243 sessions.

Co2 you have helped us save

In terms of our fast-charging network (7-22kW) 43 public charge points on the Clenergy EV platform since June 2020, we have had just over 10,000 sessions which has saved 130,000kg of Co2, equating to the planting of over 5,909 trees.

Our first EV Hub

The first purpose built rapid charging hub in Wales was with ours in Cross Hands. Since opening at the end of March 2022 there have been just over 5,000 charging sessions initiated at the Cross Hands EV Hub. The onsite chargers have delivered approx. 113,500 kWh to EV users. The equivalent of 332,643 EV miles.

Our EV Infrastructure Strategy

Our strategy complements the Welsh Government’s ‘EV Charging Strategy for Wales’ and provides us with a bespoke roadmap of where we want to be over the next 10 years.

Our EV & Fleet integration

We have the following EV charging facilities for our fleet. Trostre Depot – 3 x 50 kW (rapid) & 6 x 7-22kW (fast), Cillefwr Depot – 2 x 50kW (rapid) & 4 x 7-22kW (fast), Cwmamman Depot – 2 x 7-22kW (fast), County Hall – 1 x 50kW (rapid) & 1 x 7-22kW (fast).

Partnership Working

We have worked in partnership with Transport for Wales and Swarco to install dual rapid charging points at 3 locations across the county: Llandovery, Castle Car Park, Llanybydder, Station Terrace Car Park, Ammanford, Carregamman Car Park.
