Parc Pendre, Kidwelly

Parc Pendre is a development for 16 new social rented homes in the coastal town of Kidwelly.

The new homes will provide much need additional affordable housing for local people and families in the area. The development will include:

 

  • 4 x 1 bedroom homes
  • 6 x 2 bedroom homes
  • 4 x 3 bedroom homes
  • 2 x 4 bedroom homes

 

These energy-efficient homes feature modern living spaces, a contemporary kitchen and bathroom and off-road parking.

The town of Kidwelly, located 7 miles from Llanelli offers everything needed for day to day living, with access to local shops and cafés. Kidwelly is a popular tourist destination, with key attractions including Kidwelly Castle, Kidwelly beach and the Kidwelly Quay. Ffos Las Racecourse has brought top class racing to Wales since it opened in 2009 and also acts as a place to eat and host events including weddings. 
 
For a short 15 minute drive from Parc Pendre, you can enjoy a day out at Pembrey Country Park, an award winning park and beach, set inside 500 acres of Green Flag awarded woodlands, alongside a Blue Flag awarded eight miles of golden sands. The country park is one of Wales’s Top Visitor attractions providing a unique blend of coast and countryside.

The A484 provides convenient access to Carmarthen Town in the North and Burry Port and Llanelli to the South. There are also public transport links for travelling across the county with a local train and bus station within walking distance.

Construction work began in February 2025 and will be completed in early 2026.
