Improving the housing service we deliver

The most recent STAR Tenant Satisfaction Survey asked 5,000 randomly selected tenants to share their views on the housing service we deliver. 1,250 responses were received, and these results will help to shape and improve the service we provide moving forward.

This is the third in a regular series of information/results from the STAR survey.

Following your feedback, we want to learn more about how we can improve the housing service we deliver.

We are…

  • Introducing Tim Tacluso Tai – a handyperson service focussing on Council owned housing, estates and communal areas
  • Continuing to target anti-social behaviour related to Council owned homes with a team of six officers
  • Continuing to take action against breaches of tenancy to protect homes and communities
  • Developing an enhanced housing management service to focus on hot spot areas to keep our homes and communities safe. Look out for our officers, we are here to help

Did you know...

  • It is a legal requirement for us to carry out boiler servicing and electrical testing. We have forced action to enter 500 homes since 2023

  • We have carried out four Closure orders (to stop visitors entering properties) in the last six months

  • Drug activity, major alterations to homes and keeping pets without permission are breaches of tenancy
